Andrew Cullen was born in Monto, Australia in 1965. After a childhood in spent in various parts of Australia he studied to be a teacher with a specialization in Visual Arts. His teaching experience has given him the chance to travel widely and allowed him to live in England, Vietnam, Colombia, Indonesia and Japan. He has had the opportunity to exhibit in each of these countries with his first solo exhibition being in Hiroshima in February of 2005.
